Corporate employees put the ASEA ethos into action

Having an impact and making a difference are ways we at ASEA live up to our mission to better people’s lives and to be a force for good in the world.

During the month of June, employees had the opportunity to give back with their time and talents making bears, bags, and sleeping mats during breaks and lunch as part of Impact Make a Difference week.

Think about growing up where the only toys in your life are sticks, rocks, and trash. Or imagine sleeping on the hard ground because you have no other option. These are things most of us will never experience, but our employees put themselves in others’ shoes and got involved to help in ways that do make a difference for those living in dire situations.

We are grateful for those who offered service with this project and who took a few moments to give selflessly to others. Participants made sleeping mats out of recycled shopping bags that would have otherwise gone in the trash, they created love bears for children cutting out patterns and embroidering faces, and they made bags all to help meet the needs of orphans, homeless and others in third world countries where something so simple is life changing.

We encourage you to think of others on your journey through life and take a moment to give back in whatever way you feel you can. We are doing our part to help others find their potential, because at ASEA— We power potential™
